Walloon Writers Review is an independent literary magazine that was founded in 2014 with a vision of collecting and sharing the stories, creative writing, nature photography, and unique experiences inspired by northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. The first edition offered eight selections and was twenty-two pages total. Walloon Writers Review Ninth Edition released in March, 2025 featuring sixty-five contributors at 186 pages.
Founder and editor Jennifer Huder welcomed Glen Young first as Associate Editor for the sixth edition which rolled out during the pandemic and since then, as Co-Editor.
