Walloon Writers Review has finished selections for the upcoming Fourth edition. Thank you to everyone who sent us great tales, reflections, poems and photography.

We are so grateful for the efforts everyone made…it’s quite an emotional experience to submit your creative work to publications! We were excited about the quality and the passion we sensed in each submission and wish we could include everything we received.

The first stage in preparing the selected pieces for publishing in the works, we want to remind potential contributors that there are a number of high quality publications ready to receive your submissions.

Michigan based New Pages https://www.newpages.com offers a comprehensive list of literary magazines with open submissions. Another literary magazine listing is Dup Trope. If you’re a bookstore stalker like me, peruse the lit mags at stores you shop so that you get first hand ideas of what makes a piece a good fit for each unique publication. Indie booksellers have an exciting selection. I am also looking at Michigan Author sections in my are bookstores and WOW! the books are terrific!

Photographers, Esthetic Lens, https://www.estheticlens.com/ edited by Michigan native David Roth, offers an exciting creative digital publication out of Chicago.

Writers, Dunes Review, Parallel North, Third Coast, …..so many publications are worthy of your consideration.
