Fall Begins in northern Michigan

The Welcoming Crew at Pellston Airport….

It’s official! Autumn has arrived and what an incredible time to explore northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.

Up here, the vast forested canopy of trails and open sky along the coasts inspire you to breathe out the days expectations and let fresh air, pines, fish and wildlife, wildflowers, sunshine and the fragrance of fall take over. The rush of waterfalls, gentle curve and flow of rivers, and eagles soaring above the lakes all bring focus to the incredible beauty out here to explore.

“Exploration” is the theme of this edition of Walloon Writers Review and we hope you will experience something different or some place new in the region. It is an absolute honor to share so many talented Michigan writers and Michigan nature photographers on this collection. Walloon Writers Review is best described as a “pick up and put down” ,savor-some-for-later, go back and enjoy it again kind of publication. We hope you really enjoy the incredible selections included in this new collection. Need a copy? Please support independent bookstores in Michigan by picking up a copy at the growing list on our Where To Find Walloon Writers Review tab or order online at Bookshop.org, Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.

At the reading at Indian River Area Library, we got to hear a few of our contributing writers share their poems from the collection, as well as their ‘pieces in progress’. Thanks to Monique Bova, Hailey French, Gary Schils and Co-Editor Glen Young for making this event so exciting and so uplifting. This was a first event for us and nicely attended. We are so grateful to Kelsey Rutkowski, Director of Indian River Area Library for inviting us.

As always, your support of Michigan authors, poets, writers, musers, memoirists, story tellers, singers, and nature photographers is honored.

Thanks for visiting our page and for your support of Walloon Writers Review.
